What is the difference between fact and opinion? A fact is a thing or an
event that people — with different opinions or beliefs — accept as a real or
demonstrable occurrence.
Every civilization encounters moments when it ceases to grow and develop. The
unwillingness to recognize, contemplate, understand, and assimilate new facts
defines the problem: it is always easier to agree than to dissent.
As a student of history, I have consistently read, studied, and absorbed original
texts and sources. In other words, I avoid textbooks.
In future installments, I will continue to offer pages from my manuscript on
pivotal subjects that have been discarded, intentionally ignored, or
misrepresented.
